About Me
I am a licensed psychologist (Oregon and New York) with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University. My clinical training has emphasized working with trauma, queer people, people of color, and clients ages 13 and older. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City where I received training in substance abuse and personality disorders. I conducted my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Portland’s counseling center.
I believe that therapy is most effective and meaningful when done collaboratively and hope to work together to understand how your previous relationships and experiences shape who you are today. In particular, I wish to explore how your past influences your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors—all within your sociopolitical context. I tend to be the best fit for those looking to challenge themselves and be challenged in therapy.
In addition to working as a clinician, I teach and supervise doctoral and master’s level therapists-in-training. I also work as an executive functioning coach to children, adolescents, and adults with learning differences.
I am available for remote and in-person sessions.
